We are humbled by the incredible Artists performing at Perth Open Mic events. We thank you and proudly offer four venues across Perth.
Information for Performers
Each night has six 30 minute performance slots. We’re here to provide you the opportunity to perform and we appreciate and respect the effort you’ve made to do so.
If you don’t have 30 minutes of music, we’d like to encourage to do what you can. Someone else can use some of your time. Obviously the number of songs varies for each performer.
Perth Open Mic audiences want to hear you perform quality live music, regardless of who wrote the songs. So covers and originals are equally as welcome.
Most venues can only handle solo/duo or maybe trio. Come check out each venue to see for yourself and check with Shaun from Perth Open Mic for extra info.
A live instrument must be played. It allows a distinction between us and karaoke. Hip hop is an exception which can be performed with backing tracks. We provide a 3.5mm aux lead. Generally speaking mixing desks don’t have a usb in.
Perth Open Mic provides professional equipment. 24 channel Soundcraft desk, two Shure mics, RCF FOH and foldback, even a guitar lead. BYO instrument, but we usually have a house guitar if you have technical issues.
One free drink ticket each performer unless you’re a band in which case you might need to ration those.
Bookings aren’t essential, but why take the risk when it’s so easy to reserve a slot.
