Anna Street B(VA): Creative & Administration

Anna is a qualified Visual Artist who oversees all graphics and design for Perth Open Mic.

Anna also handles day to day administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.

Anthony Lomma Pic.jpg

Anthony Lomma: Roadie/Operator

Tony is an active musician in a few Perth original bands as a bassist and drummer. He’s completely immersed in rehearsing, writing, recording music and he’s also the muscle in our little operation.

Tony looks after the equipment and ensures it’s delivered on time and assembled according to the specific demands of every venue.

Yeah man, we’ve got a roadie and he’s awesome!

Manny.jpg

Manny Prempeh: Operator

Perth Open Mic met Manny as he enjoyed playing regularly at the Brass Monkey. Since then he has become an indispensable member of the team. Manny is one of our versatile operators and can therefore play a great set of music, pull a decent mix and liaise with Artists and the Venue. Manny has a Bachelor of Audio from SAE.

He’s also the best free-style rapper Shaun’s ever heard.

Jarrad%2BWheildon.jpg

Jarrad Wheildon: Operator

Jarrad operates the Brighton Open Mic in Mandurah. A local musician, studio engineer and all round top dude, Jarrad also works to help promote artists based around the Peel region.

Jarrad fronts the band My Shadow and I by night and is the care-taker for the community-owned, John Butler Studio.

Nathan Browne: Operator

Nathan grew up in the midst and aftermath of the famous Bridgetown Blues Festival. Since he moved to Perth, Nathan has studied at WAAPA and become the bassist for many acts including Fever Dream.

He’s got a new project called Lounge Lizard, but reckons working with open mic participants is one of the coolest things he gets to do as a musician.
